Introducting..........Macarria Anique

I know that many of you have been waiting on a update so here it is. I'm not really good at scanning photos. We finally came up with an official name. It's Macarria pronounced Ma-car-re-a. We've been playing with the name for a few weeks but just had come up with spelling that we agreed on and didn't have too many extra letters.

Ultrasound!!!

I have my appointment next week, Thursday the 17th to hopefully determine the sex of LB. So I would like to know what everyone else thinks I'm having. So I have added a poll on the top right side of this page, if you have a moment give us your opinion. Thanks!!!

At the Canal

I know that it has been several weeks (over 2 months) since I've updated. I no longer have a camera [I broke it :( ] and I've been too cheap to go buy another one. I have been meaning to post this one for quite a while but just never found the time. So here goes......Back in July we decided to take the girls down to the canal. They had never been before and so we rented a paddle boat. They loved it. Like usual they asked if we could do this everyday. And like usual we laughed at them. But here are some pictures for our day at the Canal.

At this point Fell let Monyae steer the boat. And as you can tell she got a little too close to the water. We got a little wet!!!

We met these ladies along our journey. We started talking to them because we felt bad for laughing at them because they got stuck along the wall.

I know I you're thinking "she doesn't post anything for months and then this is all she post"!!! Sorry!!! I'll try harder next time.

It's Official!!!

For the last few weeks I've been feeling a little crazy! Okay so although I am a little crazy I went to the doctor last Thursday and they confirmed that only a portion of it is due to genetics! And the other portion is because I am the current home for the new addition in our family. One of the reasons why I felt somewhat crazy is that I didn't take a pregnancy test at all this time. I guess I figured I took 4 with Monyae and 3 with Makayah, I've given my fair share of money to the pregnancy test people. Can you imagine how much money they must make? I have to admit the results of those test is what keeps food on my table and many of my friends! Please excuse the side conversations, once I found out I was pregnant whatever brain cells that I had left went on strike!

So my due date is January 27th! I was telling my friends that I was 41 wks with Monyae and 40+5 with Makayah so, we'll see how things goes. We are all hoping for a very healthy baby and pregnancy with no complications, and if "Lil Bean" happens to be a boy then we wouldn't be upset. All joking aside babies are blessings and angels that are sent from heaven and we are blessed to even be giving the opportunity to add another precious member to our family.

I've tried to add my ultrasound pictures but my scanner at home doesn't have the powercord..... So just imagine all the cute and adorable 10 wk ultrasound pictures that you've seen.....and multiple them times 10.....that's how much MORE adorable my Lil Bean is. I've nicknamed the baby Lil Bean so that I don't say it, or him, or her, so for now until I find something else it's LB or Lil Bean.

Visiting Kylee

A few weeks ago our friend Lisa had her baby! Melinda and I meet up at Clarian North so that we could see lil Kylee together. It was great to be able to visit and enjoy Kylee. I look forward to all of our many get togethers.

Melinda and the girls getting their first look at her.

Doesn't look like she's too comfortable with Lil Emma Kate.

But Charlotte is a professional Big Sister.......She knows how to handle babies!!!

Emma Kate gives it another try.

She slept peacefully the whole time we were there.

Is Melinda falling asleep?

I can't take pictures without getting one of my lil bff Cooper. NaNa (not the girl's NaNa but my work NaNa) holding little Cooper. He's getting so big!

If that's not Motivation....

Well as many of you know me and my dear friend Krysta joined a gym a few months ago. We've done a great job of going.......okay maybe not! But we always THINK about going. She's gone many more times than I have. I was sitting on my couch resting, thinking about which day we should go to the gym and I noticed that my girls were BLOCKING the tv! I realized that they were actually EXERCISING AT HOME! Can you believe that! It's really bad when your 4 and 8 yr old have a better exercise routine then you. They actually exercised for about 10-15 minutes. And that really motivated me.....to go get my camera and take a few pictures! LOl! The other bad part is they are using my weights! I really need to get my act together and go to the gym.

Not sure what this is called with the blindfold and all
but obviously Kayah's is the personal trainor.
I think she's showing her the proper way to hold it!

I see you!

After taking the pictures, adding them to the computer, and then posting them to the blog, I'm tired. Time for a nap!

Father's Day

Fell's one of those guys that don't like celebrating holidays or birthdays that are for them. He loves our birthdays, Mother's day, and Christmas but he doesn't like for us to make a big deal over him. So we take turns on which year we make a fuss and when we keep it low key. Well this year was as low key as you can get. We just chilled at home, made tacos for dinner and extra crispy cookies!

The girls relaxing on the couch.
This is Fell's usual place, either in front of the tv or in the kitchen. No we didn't make him cook. He's sneaky and snuck in there when we weren't looking, and got caught!!!!
Kayah's keeping Daddy occupied while I finish dinner.

Awww! How cute! A father/daughter moment!
These are the extra crispy cookies that I made. I have a bad habit of turning the oven on and not checking to see if it's on bake or broil. Well this time it was on broil. So the cookies came out extra crispy and soft in some spots. Fell didn't care he ate them anyway.
Those cookies must have hit the spot (or killed him) because I looked over and this is what I saw!
He moved so he must be alive!

Alisa's B-day

Last month we went to (my best friend Robyn, daughter) Alisa's 6th birthday party. The girls had a great time. It looked like it was going to rain the whole time but luckily it waited until the very end of the party to start pouring.

I can't believe how big they are getting.

Two of Alisa's friends, Alisa and Makayah, all riding on the pumpkin.
Anthony climbing up the slide. The part you can't see is my Anthani has already climbed up.
These two are so competitive, it's just kinda funny to sit and watch them.
Usually this is what you see......the two of them running!
Everyone gathering so that we can cut the cake.

Time for the birthday girl to make a wish and blow out her candle

The kids have eaten and they are back to playing.

Monyae's is trying to jump on the swing while it's moving.....my girls are completely different. Makayah just wants to be a princess and get pushed. While Monyae wants to push and then run and jump on!

Clarian Day at the Zoo

We all got together and took the little ones to the zoo. Here are pics from our day.

As usual, once we get somewhere Makayah finds Ashley and they do this little thing that they do? It always looks like Makayah is saying hi, and Ashley's thinking do I know you?

Here's our group shot....Oh Emma Kate where did you go? Chad, Ashley, and Makayah look over here?

Thank goodness we found Emma Kate! But Chad still found something more interesting to look at.

Everyone posing for Krysta's pic.

Chad's finally looking!!!!

Poor Ashley wasn't feeling well.

Our caravan of strollers!

This is the most mingling that Averi and Monyae do

The best kid of 2008!

We were heading to see the dolphin show all the girls had to park their strollers!!

I guess I'll be in that group next year!
While we were waiting for the rest of the group I decided to take a pic of the girls. They look so sweet......but what's in Kayah's hand?
Oh a bag of Cheetos! Lovely!
I learned that while walking and carrying your baby hold them like this.......

Charlotte and Makayah hugged at least 20 times during the dolphin show.
Kayah posing.
Me taking a picture of, Lisa taking a picture of Chad!

Don't know these people just thought they were interesting. Doesn't he look like Weird Al.
Charlotte and Chad feeding the giraffe.
After Emma Kate tasted her sweet potato she decided to let the giraffe have a taste.
